Activity 5 - Sustainable Development
1. The earth summit is a national conference on the environment and development.
2. The Summit was organized by the UN.
3. In 1992 the first Earth summit was held.
4. The meeting was held in Rio da Janeiro.
5. It was held in Rio de Janeiro 2012.
6. The Earth Summit is a United Nations meeting to discuss issues about development, environment and energy problems.
7. Development in the future must be sustainable and eco-friendly. All the countries must work together to protect the worlds eco system in all aspects.
8. If countries do not do something about these natural issues there will be severe consequences so having these meetings will help co-ordinate the different countries properly so to help prevent the rising issues.
9. Sort of but 1several years after the conference started they had to double their efforts because the goals hadn’t been met.
10. The conference discusses problems and plans for sustainable development.

1.    1.   African nationalism is the nationalist political movement for a unified Africa and to find independence.

6.   6.   I think the song buffalo soldier reflects Pan-Africanism and African nationalism because the song is about fighting for freedom and bringing different communities together as one no matter about religions, color of skin

and language.

I think it is a very creative way of building houses and making your own building supplies and materials. It is very cool to see community's pulling together with initiative and a will to do good work. it is a very good idea and it teachers people skills that will last them a long time and can be past down to their kids. It can flow into other villages. It encourages entrepreneurship. It also teachers the community to think for them selves as a community and as indeviduals.
